I adopted a rescue bully breed whose behaviour was getting out of control, he was a bite risk, he would bark at every dog, and occasionally get into fights with other dogs. I tried positive only training etc, nothing would work, he wasn’t motivated by food around dogs and other distractions.
I was dreading walks, avoiding going out for walks at normal times due to other dog owners being around. I was sad for my dog who was always on a lead and over stimulated, he and I were both frustrated as we had no clear communication between us.

Freddy - Golden Retriever
Freddy was reactive towards other dogs, very hyper and would constantly pull on the lead. Walks were becoming really difficult and stressful, and we struggled to manage his behaviour.
Dog walks were anxiety-riddled for me, and home life could feel very chaotic. I was constantly worrying about how Freddy would react, which took a lot of the enjoyment out of our walks and time together.
Jake was fantastic. He was patient, understanding and really took the time to explain Freddy’s behaviour so that we could understand Freddy. The training gave me the confidence and tools I needed to handle Freddy properly, rather than constantly feeling like I was struggling.
The difference has been amazing. Being able to let Freddy off lead on a walk and not have that constant worry is something I never thought I’d be able to do. Walks are now so much more enjoyable and relaxed, and home life is much calmer too.
It feels like we can actually enjoy our time together now rather than me constantly worrying about what Freddy might do. The training has genuinely given both of us a much better quality of life.
